3Q1 Prints

From a young age, Quinton (Q) showed a passion for Math and Science. His mind is forward thinking but practical. He is the oldest of three boys and takes great pride in being the biggest bubba. Q has a kind heart and shows it in unique ways. He is thoughtful with his intentions. His community that has helped him become the young man he is, is often the recipient of his kindness.

The world of 3D printers was introduced by Q's dad, when Q was in elementary school. However Q really got excited when his best friend and cousin, Oliver, got a 3D printer. Q quickly saved up money from mowing lawns to buy his own printer. He started printing small fidgets for his friends and family and started modeling his own ideas on Tinkercad.

In February 2024, after selling keychains at the Chiefs parade, Q gave one to a fan decked out in gear. Two days later, that fan tried to find Q to thank him, by posting on Facebook. That post took off and Q received orders from all over the country! Family and friends jumped to action to help Q fulfill the 1,000+ keychain orders. 3Q1 became an official business and has not slowed down since.

KC Kind was born as a way to promote kindness and pay forward the goodwill that has been shown to Q from his community. Q has raised over $4,000 to give back. He had his first KC Kind event in July 2024 at a local pediatric office, providing keychains, snacks and drinks to the staff. He is excited to continue to bring awareness and support to the mental health and wellness of healthcare workers!
